【Experiential Learning Friday - Mindfulness Course: Fun and Effective, Cultivating Communication Masters】




Designed by Professor Chen Xuezhi and his team from the Social and Emotional Education and Development Research Center of National Taiwan Normal University, the mindfulness course guides TCS students to enhance their present-moment awareness. It focuses on training their ability to pay attention to the present, including body movements, emotional sensations, and thoughts, while maintaining an open, accepting, and non-judgmental attitude to observe their own mental and physical states.


Through engaging activities such as the "Mindfulness Meditation Bottle DIY Activity" teacher also trains empathy, enabling students to learn effective and respectful communication skills. TCS aims to nurture students to enhance their social and emotional intelligence through mindfulness, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
