Research from the Child and Nature Alliance of Canada (CNAC) indicates that outdoor activities have positive effects on students' physical and mental health, academic performance, and social skills, while also promoting environmental awareness and conservation. At TCS, we greatly value a balanced development of students between academics and extracurricular activities. Therefore, what we offer is not just outdoor hiking experiences but orienteering training activities led by certified outdoor exploration teams.
Students learned the importance of teamwork through various challenging tasks and role assignments, collaborating with peers while hiking. They faced various challenges like route planning, fostering problem-solving and decision-making skills along the way. Through these games and activities, students not only learn the spirit of facing challenges courageously but also cultivate leadership skills for the future.
