【TCS Experiential Learning Friday - Starting Financial Education from a Young Age】

TCS hosted an Experiential Learning Friday (#ELF), featuring Professor Lin Zhengchang from NTNU and parent-child financial coach Zhuli'an. They guided our Grade 8 and Grade 7 students through a financial education course designed specifically for teenagers.. By engaging in board games, students were exposed to  essential financial concepts, learning about income and expenditure management and the impact of financial decisions on life. Additionally, they explored various investment tools like the stock market, funds, and ETFs.

These practical lessons, often absent from traditional school curricula, aim to instill financial literacy in students from a young age.

TCS believes that by teaching saving habits, understanding compound interest, and introducing basic investment principles, students can better prepare for adulthood. Equipped with this knowledge, they can navigate financial challenges with confidence, pursuing their passions without the burden of financial distress.
